Marco Wehrmann joins ALP

A new addition to the Team. Marco Wehrmann joins ALP Maritime Services B.V. as Marine Project Superintendent as per 1 March 2010.

Marco's past to present:

1994
Marco started his seagoing career as trainee onboard the geared heavy lift vessels of Mammoet Shipping.

1997 - 2006

Marco graduated as Maritime Officer, both as Nautical and Technical Officer, in 1997. During the next 10 years Marco sailed onboard a diversity of vessels in the heavy transport and towage segment. Amongst others the Dockwise semi-submersible vessels, the geared heavy lifters of Mammoet and Kahn and eventually a considerable period on Anchor Handling tugs of the URS are listed in his trackrecord. In 2005 he obtained his Dutch Master Licence All Ships.

2006 – 2007

Marco was employed by Bureau Vogtschmidt as Marine Warranty Surveyor, where he was responsible for warranty surveys of towage and heavy lift projects, as well as pre-enty surveys for Hull and Machinery underwriters.

2007 – 2008

Marco was employed by MOL Shipmanagement as Marine superintendent.

2008 – 2010

Marco’s last step before teaming up with ALP was his employment with Fairmount Marine B.V. as Marine Superintendent. He was engaged in the daily support of the fleet of tugs and barges operated by Fairmount. As a member of the project team he was furthermore responsible for voyage preparations, tow and tug surveys and preparation, and acted as barge supervisor/Master on many of the barge operation performed by Fairmount during this period.
